Our Team

Dr Jeff Lee is the owner of A Plus Optometry. Having graduated from the University of Auckland, Jeff has been offering exceptional eye care services and dedicated care to patients for more than six years. He puts great emphasis on his patients’ wellbeing and takes pride in delivering the best possible eye care to each of them.

Jeff is therapeutically endorsed to prescribe ophthalmic medicines, and has a particular interest in orthokeratology, myopia control and dry eye treatment and management. Additionally, Jeff is a member of:

• Optometry Australia Association (OAA)
• Australian College of Optometry (ACO)
• Cornea & Contact Lens Society of Australia (CCLSA), and
• Orthokeratology Society of Oceania (OSO)

Jeff and his wife Maggi love serving the community, and are especially keen about changing people’s lives by helping them see better.

Jeff is fluent in both English and Mandarin.

Stephanie has worked as an optical dispenser in the eastern suburbs for the past ten years. She is very passionate about independent optometry and has a special interest frame design, specialised contact lenses and helping find frames for those who have unique or complex needs. She has lived in the local area her whole life and is excited to be working close to home in a brand new, independent optometry practice.

When she’s not at work, Stephanie enjoys camping, reading and travel and loves exploring the Yarra Valley.

With eighteen years’ experience in the optical industry, Danielle began her career as an optical dispenser. During this time, she has worked in various independent practices as well as in an optical lens laboratory, where she gained invaluable experiences learning how optical lenses are made and tailored for the individual. However, Danielle’s true home is with Jeff and Stephanie at A+ Optometry.

Danielle is friendly and loves helping both children and adults make an informed choice regarding their eyewear needs. She is especially interested in educating patients in contact lens wear, and endeavours to help meet every patient’s unique eye care needs.

Outside of work, Danielle is kept very busy with her husband and two young boys. She enjoys spending time with friends and frequenting her favourite restaurants.
